I believe an artist's work is justified if it is done with thought, imagination, individuality, and honest feeling. Saturday classes at the Art Institute in Dayton Ohio inspired her love for Art. After graduating from Denison University in Granville Ohio, where she received a BA Degree in Fine Art and Education, Peg taught Art in the Dayton Ohio schools and later held a position as Assistant Art Director of the Display Department of a large department store. During the following years, while raising a family, she was Manager of the Graphic Arts Department at a National Printing Company. About six years ago, an art class taken on a Colorado vacation renewed her interest in painting. Peg paints in both Acrylic and Watercolor. In the past she has worked in Silk Screen Printing and Stained Glass. She has painted several murals in the homes of Gulf Harbour residents. Peg is a member of the Alliance of the Arts and The Art League of Fort Myers. She exhibits regularly in the downtown gallery of the Art League.
